OK so I finally decided I should post something on our beautiful blog! Today MaLea and I went to the doctor just for a little check up and as we were talking he told us that he wanted to give us a challenge. MaLea and I had no idea what was coming! He said as sisters I want you guys to train for a half marathon and then run the hobble creek half marathon..... WHAT?! Is he insane? Something like that....Do I run? Nope! Does MaLea run? Nope! Well I guess its a good start. We cant exactly turn the doctor down on a challenge... So the first thing I did was recruit some people, I figure that those I recruit will hold me too it! I recruited Jennifer June, Aunt Jenny, Aaron, and of course mom! The marathon is August 22 @ 7:15AM, we can register May 1st! The website is http://www.srcevents.com/hobblecreek/. I'm looking for a training schedule and I'm going to go get the book "The Non-runners Guide to Running Marathons." recommended by Aunt Jenny. I'm so excited as of right now, I hope that I can keep up the excitement!
